CAT5E and CAT6+ KeyConnect Jacks – Now Available in Bulk Packaging
In addition to purchasing jacks individually, customers can now purchase all non-TIA CAT5E and CAT6+ KeyConnect jacks in bulk. Each bulk package will contain 24 jacks. This additional purchasing option will simplify the planning process for customers by allowing them to buy in larger quantities, save preparation time of opening all jacks separately, and reduce the project site waste from the extra packaging material. Starting today, non-TIA CAT5E and CAT6+ KeyConnect jacks will be available for purchase in bulk by adding "-B24" to the part number. The Copper Networking cheat sheet has been updated to reflect this new offering. Please forward this literature to your customers and let them know that they that they can purchase CAT5E and CAT6+ jacks in bulk for their next project!

FiberExpress UHD Management Spools – Internal Release
This FX UHD housing accessory provides additional space to manage the required slack inside the patch panel drawer. The additional space greatly improves the appearance of the installed system as well as prevents inadvertent fiber breakage while opening and closing the drawers. FiberExpress Brilliance 250 μm Boot – Internal Release
This boot expands the scope of options for the FX Brilliance Universal family of mechanical splice field-termination connectors. Combined with the FX UHD Splice Cassette, the 250 μm boot eliminates the need to use expensive and difficult breakout kits to terminate 250 μm fibers (i.e., Loose-Tube or Mini-Distribution). Check out the new FX Brilliance Videos! Fiber Product Line Manager, Dwayne Crawford, reviews the main benefits FX Brilliance line in the first overview video and then walks through step by step instructions for prepping, cleaving and installing fiber. If your customers need instructional videos for each step, for either 250 μm or 900 μm fiber, direct them to Belden’s YouTube channel. Here Comes Ethernet - AVB White Paper
Audio Video Bridging (AVB) is a popular topic in today’s emerging AV technologies. While networked audio has been around for some time, today’s systems are proprietary; not the free open standard that Ethernet is meant to be.
