New ReelTuff® cable packaging and Digital Electricity™ Cable selected as two of the best products available to integrators
Belden is excited to announce that its new ReelTuff® cable packaging and Digital Electricity™ Cable were named 2019 BEST Award winners by Commercial Integrator magazine.
The winners were chosen by a panel of industry experts, integrators and Commercial Integrator editors for being the best products available to integrators in 2019. Winners were announced at InfoComm 2019 in Orlando, FL.
Belden’s ReelTuff packaging is designed with installers in mind. Its differentiating features include:
- A double-wall corrugated design and the industry’s only water-resistant coating
- Tear-resistant, easy-to-access, reinforced handles to make packaging lighter
- Holes in the top, bottom and front for easy pulling through stacked boxes
- PVC reels that make it easier to carry and cheaper to ship
- Easy-to-read labels and descending length markings
Belden’s Digital Electricity Cable is designed to safely carry Digital Electricity up to 2,000W for up to 2,000 m, making it possible to distribute high-voltage power over a data cable across long distances. This is valuable in smart buildings that rely on high-power, long-reach applications, such as PONs (passive optical networks) and BASs (building automation systems).
Two cable versions are available. Copper cables are designed with anti-corrosion properties and for improved longevity; copper/fiber hybrid cables reduce stock with only one cable to manage and decrease labor costs with only one cable to pull.
