Belden Gains Leads at Expo Seguridad 2014
Expo-SeguridadApril 8-10 at the Banamex Center in Mexico City, Belden joined more than 300 exhibitors at the 12th annual Expo Seguridad, the leading and largest security event in Latin America. Powered by ISC, Expo Seguridad draws more than 12,000 security professionals and exhibits a wide range of security solutions under one roof—from IP-based systems, access control and CCTV, to intrusion detection, intercom, fire detection and more. At the event, Belden demonstrated our wide range solutions for security systems, including fiber and copper cabling and connectivity, racks and enclosures, switches, GarettCom Ethernet devices and Telecast video extenders. Generating more than 500 leads, the successful event attracted new customers and presented new business opportunities for Belden.

Broadcast Assemblies
broadcastassembliesAt NAB 2014 and Belden University, Belden generated lots of attention with our newly launched custom broadcast assemblies that includes pre-terminated, custom-length assemblies such as tactical fiber, SMPTE 311M, coax, triax and audio snake cable. Rapid Termination Tool
Rapid-Termination-ToolThe new KeyConnect Rapid Termination Tool has been released internally to help prepare you for the external launch on May 14th. Reducing installation time up to 50% for CAT5E and CAT6+ KeyConnect jacks, the new RT Tool terminates and cuts all conductors in one crimp to eliminate re-work. This durable yet no-impact tool is lightweight, ergonomic and easy to use, providing a safer working environment and eliminating the need to use the Termination Station to hold the jacks. Geared towards installers and distribution, key applications for this new product include workstation outlets, consolidation points and modular patch panels.   • FX Brilliance Universal OM4 Erika Violet Connectors: Our OM4 no-epoxy, no-polish, no-crimp field-installable connectors now come in Erika Violet to eliminate accidental mixing of OM3 and OM4. External launch: May 12th

Extensions to the FX UHD Family:

  • FX UHD Angled Cassettes: With 48 LC Duplex or 24 SC Duplex ports per rack unit, the FX UHD Angled Cassettes are the ideal choice for medium to high-port count applications in the data center or LAN. External Launch: May 19th

  • FX UHD Black Housings and Shelves: Augmenting the primary titanium finish FX UDH Housing and Shelves that provide fast installation, better fiber protection and easier maintenance, the black offering addresses legacy applications and equipment. External Launch: May 22nd

Extension to the FX Workstation Connectivity Series:

  • FX Multi-Box: Extremely compact, the feature rich M-Box is ideally suited for floor box, in ceiling and other general consolidation point applications. Pre-terminated MPO connectivity with integrated fanout to LC eliminates field termination for fast deployment of 1G and 10G. External launch: June 2nd
